PETG Reinforced for Strength, Stiffness & Heat Resistance

  • Glass fibre reinforced for increased stiffness and durability
  • High impact resistance for demanding functional parts
  • Improved dimensional stability for more consistent results
  • Enhanced heat resistance for warmer working environments

When standard PETG isn't quite enough, PETG-GF gives you the added rigidity and durability needed for more demanding projects.

Hex Code: #020408

Key Features
  • Strong & Durable: Glass-fibre reinforced for tough, load-bearing parts that stand the test of time.
  • Precision & Reliable: Excellent dimensional stability ensures accurate, repeatable prints every time.
  • Easy to Print: Formulated for smoother, hassle-free printing on most FFF/FDM 3D printers.
  • Freshly sealed for quality: vacuum-packed with desiccant to protect filament performance.
  • Fast Australian shipping: dispatched quickly from our West Australian warehouse.
Practical Applications

RAW3D PETG-GF is perfect for:

  • Engineering prototypes
  • Mechanical components & brackets
  • Jigs, fixtures & tooling
  • Durable end-use parts
Storage Recommendations

To prevent moisture absorption and contamination, keep the filament in its original airtight packaging until ready for use. After opening, any unsued filament should be re-sealed with dessicant before storage. PETG-GF is sensitive to moisture and should be dried (80°C for ~12 hours) before printing for best results. Avoid heat, dust and direct sunlight to prevent degredation.

Frequently Asked
Questions

What is PETG-GF?

PETG-GF is PETG reinforced with glass fibre, giving it increased stiffness, durability and impact resistance compared with standard PETG. It’s designed for functional parts that need enhanced mechanical and heat resistance.

Is PETG-GF difficult to print?

PETG-GF is generally easy to print, but may require some fine-tuning depending on your printer and set up.

Do I need a hardened nozzle for PETG-GF?

Yes, glass fibre is abrasive and can cause increased nozzle wear over time. A hardened or wear-resistant nozzle is recommended for regular PETG-GF printing.

What is PETG-GF best used for?

PETG-GF is ideal for engineering prototypes, mechanical components, jigs and fixtures, and durable end-use parts where increased stiffness, impact resistance and heat resistance are important.
