Storage Recommendations
Store RAW3D PLA Glow filament in a cool, dry environment at room temperature (up to ~40°C) with humidity below 20%. Keep spools sealed with desiccant when not in use, and dry the filament before printing if exposed to air for extended periods. Avoid heat, dust, and direct sunlight to prevent degradation.

How does PLA Glow glow in the dark?
PLA Glow contains phosphorescent pigment that absorbs and stores energy when exposed to light. When the lights go out, the stored energy is gradually released as a visible glow. The longer and more intensely it is exposed to light, the stronger the initial glow can be.
Do I need a hardened nozzle to print PLA Glow?
A hardened steel nozzle is recommended. The phosphorescent pigment can be abrasive and may cause accelerated wear when printed through a standard brass nozzle.
How can I make my PLA Glow prints glow brighter?
For a stronger and longer-lasting glow, maximise the amount of glowing material in your print. Thicker walls and higher infill can help increase the amount of phosphorescent material available to absorb and release light.
Is PLA Glow difficult to print?
Not at all! PLA Glow retains the familiar printing characteristics of PLA and can be printed using standard PLA settings. No enclosure is required, but a hardened nozzle is recommended due to the abrasive pigment.
